Mom of four children, I achieved my studies in biochemistry at the University of Montreal in 2001 and then worked, for nearly 10 years, in pharmaceutical industry, mostly in genetic research, drug development, metabolism and pharmacokinetic. Before university, I worked for many years in a pet store and, occasionally, as a veterinarian assistant, allowing me to learn a lot about various exotic and common animal species, special care to give them, raised and handfed dozens of species of birds, parrots and pets, more exotic than the other. I have always had a real passion for animals and the more they are unique, the more fascinating, they are for me.
Even though my career has changed greatly since then, the experience gained over the years help me every day to take good care of my sugar gliders, for whom I had a real passion the minute I got my first joey. The sugar glider is a unique exotic animal with special needs, very intelligent, intriguing, full of surprises and that has no equal. It's my passion and I love to communicate it to others to make this awesome pocket animal, that is the sugar glider, better known by everyone.
